The Formation Process to Becoming an
FHIC Sister
Inquiry: When you and the community become mutually acquainted.
Prenovitiate: When you are provided with an intense orientation
to the Franciscan way of life in community and prayer.
Novitiate: When you are provided with a deeper experience in the
Franciscan way of prayer life, community and mission for a two year
period.
Temporary Profession: When you will make temporary vows of
poverty, chastity and obedience. For the following three to six years
after your temporary profession, you will continue your formation until
you make your final profession.
Final Profession: When you commit to ongoing formation. |
